SALUTING THE ENGINEERS FOR THEIR BRILLIANT IDEAS & INNOVATION

15-09-2021

‘Engineers are the people who discover the world by their pen and brain.’

Engineers Day is celebrated every year as a remarkable tribute to the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (popularly known as Sir MV). He is considered one of the finest engineers of the country. The Prep and Grade I Presidians discovered the wide scope and extent of what an engineer can do, right from building houses to rockets, toys to ships. They also enjoyed discovering some of the tools used by them. The Presidium philosophy of learning by doing and experiential learning held good when they tried their hand at some of the gadgets in and around their house. They projected their understanding through speeches about the contribution of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and discussions and pictures of tools and equipment around them. The theme for World Engineers Day 2021 is Engineering for A Healthy Planet- where they were made aware about best utilization of resources and saving energy.
