“Maths is wonderful and magical! Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas."
We want our students to see that math is so much more than just answering a list of calculations or finding the area of the shape. Every year, India celebrates National Mathematics Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Indian Mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan for his substantial contributions to the world of mathematics. As a mark of respect and to get inspiration from his works, his contributions to the mathematics subject for the younger generation. In this regard, we, at Presidium, festively celebrated this occasion to create awareness about the importance of mathematics in day-to-day life situations and also to create students' interest in studying Mathematics. Our young learners have created beautiful posters and sceneries by using geometrical designs, they have crafted various masks using symmetry, participated in Quiz, and so on. Math talk and story narration were organized to understand the importance of numbers in our lives. Overall the event was informative for our young explorers where they found that "Math is everywhere!"
