Clothing (also known as clothes, apparel, and attire) is worn on the body, typically made of fabrics or textiles. The wearing of clothing is mostly restricted to gender, social occasion, seasons, and jobs. Presidium planned an activity for the students of grade 1, with the theme clothes, wherein students revised the concepts related to clothes like various types of clothes available according to seasons (summer, winter and rainy), occasion (like marriage, puja, festivities, casual wear) and purpose (uniforms and jobs). Students wore different clothes and showcased the clothes and accessories worn according to the purpose with full zeal and enthusiasm. Presidians developed rich vocabulary related to clothes, measurements, uniforms, and accessories worn with different clothes types. The activity helped the children to develop a greater understanding of the theme of Clothes and build connections with real life.
